The son of a farmer, Wes was raised and has lived in small towns in the Brazos Valley of West Texas. He is a single father of three kids. He began writing poetry and lyrics in his twenties and still writes today. His writings reflect the life he has lived and the homespun wisdom and values he was taught. His life epitomizes the West Texas country boy from the 1970's to the present. He now resides in Wichita Falls, Texas.
