About the Author

Ruth Sanderson's career as a professional illustrator spans 40 years. Ruth has illustrated over 85 books for children, including The Twelve Dancing Princesses, Cinderella, Goldilocks, and Papa Gatto. Many of the pen and ink drawings for her first coloring book, The World of Fairies, are based on her fairy paintings. Look for her Grayscale Adult Coloring Book series, starting with Volume One, THE TWELVE DANCING PRINCESSES Ruth is the co-director of the MFA in Children's Book Writing and Illustrating offered during summer terms at Hollins University in Roanoke, Virginia.
