Description

Ohio is located in two major watersheds--Great Lakes-St. Lawrence and Mississippi River--and hosts numerous ecosystems. By exploring its tallgrass prairies, rivers, marshes, sand beaches, and hardwood forests, you can find and learn more about such iconic species as Sandhill Crane, Bald Eagle, Ohio Buckeye (state tree), Northern Cardinal (state bird), and White-tailed Deer (state mammal). To better acquaint you with the natural history of the Buckeye State, we have packaged together three portable references--Birds, Trees & Wildflowers, and Wildlife-- in an attractive acetate bag. Each guide features beautiful illustrations of over 100 common species, as well as an ecoregion map showing top bird-finding, botanical, or wildlife-viewing hotspots. Laminated for durability, these lightweight, 12-panel folding pocket guides comprise a comprehensive three-pack for educators, learners, naturalists, birders, botanists, and wildlife enthusiasts who wish to sharpen their identification skills and peer more closely into the fascinating lives of over 300 familiar plants and animals in Ohio. Made in the USA.
