Description

Essential Revision Notes for the FRCS (Urol) is a new and long-awaited comprehensive two-volume textbook covering the entire FRCS (Urol) curriculum for both Parts 1 and 2 of the exam. This, along with Book 2, is the essential revision book for candidates preparing for the Intercollegiate FRCS (Urol) examination. Surgical trainees have very busy clinical duties and, along with personal commitments, this means that time for exam revision is very tight and often done during tired evenings and weekends. Written by a senior urology trainee, it is an invaluable resource designed for trainees preparing for the FRCS (Urol) that serves as a revision compass and reference book for the exam. To aid memorisation and information recall for the busy trainee, it is written in a logical manner, highlighting essential facts, providing tips, and conveying knowledge in bite-sized paragraphs. 200 MCQs are included across the two volumes to provide a flavour of the exam and encourage candidates to practise applying their knowledge. Book 1 covers: 1. Urological Oncology 1 2. Urological Oncology 2 3. Paediatric Urology 4. Emergency Urology
